National days and months are perfect times to advocate for the children, as oftentimes, people do not know that it is a nationally recognized observance for a specific condition, or maybe have never even heard of the condition before. Through educating, real impact can be made, and action can be taken towards certain missions such as implementing more programs or funding more research for a condition.
